It’s a wide world out there, which means that when it comes to the health industry, there’s no end to the number of natural health remedies claiming to help with all kinds of different health issues.
However, not all of them are going to be as effective as they claim, or help you in the long term. CBD oil is about to change all that. A natural remedy that’s been around for centuries, the spotlight has suddenly turned onto CBD oil as America has relaxed its laws around cannabis in general.
More research is appearing every day into the health benefits of this natural product, which is why companies are clawing to secure a place on the market. With all these companies comes a vast range of choice.
However, they can’t all be trusted. Let’s review one of them.
Hemplebox: THe Details
With the dawning of the internet and explosion of online shopping over the last decade or so, it’s no surprise that the novelty of the subscription box has permeated almost every industry out there.
From clothing to food and even board games, there’s a subscription box for almost anything you could be into. Of course, it wouldn’t be an expansive industry without the inclusion of a CBD oil subscription box, too.
Hemplebox has found a clever and undoubtedly popular niche within the CBD oil industry. They’ve recognized the demand for mini samples of popular CBD oil products on your doorstep every month, which is why they created their business model.
Hemplebox is responsible for bringing big name CBD brands together and curating customized boxes to deliver to you each month with samples of these brands. While we love this idea and think it’s incredibly creative, you can’t pull it off without doing due diligence, and we suspect that this is where Hemplebox is failing a bit.
There are four levels to Hemplebox’s monthly subscription. Their cheapest box comes in at $49.99, while their most expensive one on offer is $249.99. Between these two there is a $99.99 and a $149.99 box available.
While each delivery they send out is meant to be a surprise, you do have the option of choosing what’s going to be in your subscription box. Subscribers can select from a number of different categories, depending on how they like to take their CBD.
These can be anything from tinctures, capsules and vape pens to edibles and topicals. Every month you can change up your preferences if you wish. Hemplebox includes their own brand of CBD vape liquid in most of their subscription boxes while completing each order with a number of other brands as well.
One of the most significant issues we have with a company like Hemplebox is the variety in the quality of their products. While some of the products you receive in your subscription box are definitely worth the money, unfortunately, others aren’t.
Some companies they partner with are on the right side of sustainable sourcing for all of their CBD oil ingredients, while other companies include things like high fructose corn syrup in their gummies, which we don’t approve of. In a similar vein, some of the companies that Hemplbox features are charitable, while others aren’t at all.

Final Thoughts
It’s difficult for us to recommend a brand that we can’t verify when it comes to the safety and authenticity of their product.
While Hemplebox is undoubtedly an innovative company as the subscription box service is still relatively new, without due diligence and gathering of the correct information, it’s going to be hard for them to sustain a business in the long term and attract loyal customers.
At the end of the day, we love their business model and know that it will be popular among younger CBD oil users who like the surprise factor, convenience, and trend of subscription boxes.
However, because Hemplebox hasn’t put enough thought into which products they want to include and what they don’t, we can’t condone them as a brand.

I’ve ordered their products multiple times and it feels like I can never know what to expect. One time the product works and the next that same product gives me an allergic reaction. I’m guessing the problem is with the lack of lab testing, just like you’ve mentioned in the article.
